Come to this workshop to learn some basic principles of flight. Then put that knowledge to practice with some time on the NEXT X-Plane 12 flight simulator.

Flight Principles Introduction. We will cover (very briefly):
●  The four primary forces acting on an airplane.
●  How does Lift work?
●  Yaw, Pitch and Roll!
●  Basic Flight controls (Rudder, Aileron, Elevator)
●  Flight Instruments (Very quick introduction.)

Flight Sim Practice. You will practice in the flight simulator using a Cessna 172:
●  Level flight
●  Shallow turns to a heading
●  Steep turns
●  Take-offs
●  (Landing…if you feel adventurous!)

Once the workshop is completed, you may use the NEST flight simulator during member hours on a first-come first-serve basis.

Join a new interactive workshop about the principals of flight with Chuck Linton, instructor and pilot.
